Enhancing Medical and Patient's Engagement - Update and Tools

For patients to be truly engaged in their health, they must demonstrate certain behaviours that reflect their engagement.

These workshops are designed for the whole Health Team to improve patient's engagement through patient empowerment and activation, where engagement is defined as “actions individuals must take to obtain the greatest benefit from the health care services available to them.” In other words, a patient must engage with the resources available in order to maximise his or her own health. This workshop is highly experiential and fun, the Team will use Role-Play and Active Simulations to work towards a reflective patient's engagement practice, with specific and measurable objectives and practical tools to create a personal, professional tailor needs "Hands-on Project" to realise in their clinical activity.
