About the event
Patient empowerment (PE) is viewed as a key factor for improving health outcomes, enhancing communication between patients and health professionals, bringing about better adherence to treatment regimes, and ensuring the efficient use of primary health resources. This is outlined as a specific intention by the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Regional Office for Europe in Health 2020. Self-efficacy (SE), a concept derived from social cognitive theory, concerns people’s beliefs in their capacity to exercise control over events that affect their lives .SE beliefs influence how people think, feel, motivate themselves and act.
Unfortunately it's not easy to put in practice PE and SE during the usual clinical activity, due to time restrains and lack of training.
These workshop-retreat will provide you with a brief and strategic protocol in how to use Empowerment and improve Patient' self-efficacy in a set and brief time, through "corrective emotional experiences" and specific strategique techniques.
